I'm just visiting your website for the first time and I like what I see. If you don't mind I am going to try adopting some of your layout ideas on my website.

If it is possible, could you please message me with a description of how you got your work into galleries outside your local area.

I don't mind at all! I'm making the reply to this public in case anyone else wants to know. I apply and find shows through a variety of sources. Artshow.com lists calls for artists/shows and links to the applications. Two others I use are callforentry.org and entrything.com allow you to search call lists, apply, and pay application fees on there. All specifications and requirements are usually listed there. Some may only allow certain regions or having a membership to an art association to apply for shows. You just have to read the call thoroughly. They list the due dates which works out well when I have to plan out paying the entry fees and keeping track of work. Hope this helps!!! : )
